Our Story

The foundation of Michetti Ventures is rooted in the unwavering spirit of family and a relentless pursuit of entrepreneurial excellence. Before the establishment of our current venture, the Michetti family embarked on various business endeavors, including Pack RATZ New and Used, a business created to provide Lawrence, the beloved father of Thomas and Samantha, with a place to enjoy before his passing. Thomas, a class one driver, and Aganetha, who owned a trucking company for a period, navigated through different professional pursuits, leading to a phase of separation for the family.

In 2022, Aganetha reached a pivotal moment, fueled by a yearning to break free from the constraints of working for others and pursue her true passions. Her deep dive into research on healthy living and ways to enhance the family's well-being culminated in the idea of producing Microgreens. With Thomas' unwavering support, she embarked on this transformative journey, and Knites Microgreens was born. In mid-2023, Aganetha took the first steps towards sharing her passion with the community by selling her Microgreens at the local Farmers Market in Athabasca, Alberta.

The seeds of change continued to grow as Rebecca and Teresa, recognizing the potential of the venture, invested in a piece of land in Hylo, Alberta. This pivotal decision in late 2023 marked a turning point for Michetti Ventures, propelling the entire family towards a united vision for the future. By January 2024, the collective determination and shared commitment of the Michetti family saw the realization of the company's evolution into a holistic enterprise, encompassing the spirit of family, innovation, and a dedication to making a positive impact.

The journey has been marked by the relentless pursuit of a shared vision, overcoming obstacles including finances, space constraints, and time limitations. These challenges were met with unwavering determination, collaborative effort, and a commitment to fostering a thriving enterprise that embodies the values and dreams of the Michetti family.
